Argentina legend Hernan Crespo has declared that countryman Leo Messi is better than Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both players have 11 Ballon D’Or between then with the Barcelona star having six while former Manchester United forward CR7 have five.

Football faces anticipate their clash next week when the Catalan giants travel to Turin to face the Old Lady in the Match-Day 2 of the UEFA Champions League.

“I am sorry to see a sad Leo Messi at Barcelona, it’s his home,” Crespo insisted. “I hope he will resume the excellent relations he used to have or it could kill the love among the player and the fans. People management has to do with his problems.

“I am looking forward to seeing Juve-Barcelona but I would choose Messi without taking anything away from Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Leo is a compatriot, I guy who I saw growing up. The Copa America is on next summer, Argentina and Colombia are the organizers. I hope we can go all way to the end.”

Ronaldo missed Juventus first UEFA Champions League match as he is currently on self-isolation after testing positive for the deadly Covid-19.
