Lionel Messi has finally teamed up with the rest of the Barcelona training after the transfer saga with the club’s directors.

Messi handed in a transfer request and was on the verge of leaving the club with Manchester City his likely destination.

The Argentine star was seen reunited with the rest of the team on Monday under the guidance of new Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman. Though he informed the club of his desire to leave this summer.

Barcelona insisted that he can no longer activate the clause in his deal that he would need to pay a sum of €700m release clause in his contract if another club wanted to sign him this summer.

The Argentine captain reversed his decision to quit the club, he insists that he could never go to court against Barcelona to force a move out of his boyhood club.
