Modern Slavery: Mallam Puts Shackles on a 7 Year Old Boy in Zaria (See Photos)

According to shocking photos making rounds on social media, a Mallam allegedly shackled a boy’s legs in the northern part of the country in what seems like a modern day slavery. Instagram user, Henry Moses, who shared the images on social media, a young boy whose age should be between 7 and 8 was spotted with shackles on his legs. He saw the “Almajiri” boy on the street, with shackles on his legs and asked him what happened and the boy said his Mallam chained his legs so that he would not go out. This incident happened in Zaria close to Ahmadu Bello University, where Moses schools.
