Moment married Nigerian father is arrested in UK for inappropriate interactions with a minor (video)

A 43-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Abimbola David from Woolwich, has been detained by London police for allegedly engaging in inappropriate communications with a minor.

According to a report from Saving our Children’s Futures, Abimbola, who is married with two children and on a student visa, started chatting with a 14-year-old girl online and made inappropriate requests.

A video shared online shows the moment authorities visited his home, where he lives with his wife and children, to confront him.

The authorities revealed that Abimbola asked the girl about her virginity and made requests for indecent images of her, despite knowing her real age.

When confronted about his messages to the girl in a video shared online, Abimbola said: “Sir, I say I’m just saying that for nothing sake. I don’t mean it. All my chats, I don’t mean it.”

“But you’ve already done the damage,” the voice confronting him is heard saying.

“How?” Abimbola asked.

The man replied: “Do you think a 14-year-old should be pressured into sending indecent images?”

Abimbola was also accused of lying to the girl that he’s in his 20s after she told him she’s 14.

When asked why he continued messaging her even after she told him her age, he replied, “I don’t believe. I don’t believe what she’s even saying because I thought it’s just on phone, so I don’t take it serious.”

When he was asked why he enquired about her being a virgin, he said it’s because he wanted to advice her to keep her virginity.

“Yes, I said, you must keep your virginity,” Abimbola said, adding that he was trying to promote purity.

“Because, me, based on my religion, I believe in relationship without s£x,” he added.

The girl reported him with evidence, leading to his arrest.
