Moment Suspected Kidnapper Is Stripped, Beaten, Paraded Naked And Had Tyre Thrown Round His Neck

The moment a suspected kidnapper was stripped naked, paraded, beaten and had a tyre thrown around his neck was captured and has been shared online.

Omojuwa shared the video and revealed that the mob “refused to let anyone intervene.”

The man was allegedly caught trying to kidnap a child in Monatan, Ibadan, and the locals descended on him.

Omojuwa added that police vans have passed three times while the man was being mobbed but they didn’t get involved and left the mob to their actions.

Omojuwa wrote:

Any society where the law constantly fails the people, the people will take the law into their hands. Jungle Justice is evil, it is not justice in any sense. Justice justice though is entrenched because the people have lost faith in the criminal justice system. “If you hand him over to the police, his Godfathers will get him out” was the constant refrain today.
