A man has sparked discussion online after asserting that men should understand women deeply, including their emotional and physical needs.

Claiming awareness of women’s cycles

The man claimed he can tell when a woman is menstruating or ovulating, adding that such awareness comes from close attention and understanding.

“I know when a lady is menstruating or ovulating except you’re not in my space. You cannot hide it. Whether you’re in pain or you’re not in pain, I know when a lady wants to be pampered. I repeat, except you’re not in my space.”

He criticised women who complain that their partners do not notice their needs, saying the issue is often the man’s lack of attention or “education” about women.

Understanding and security are key

He further emphasised that knowing a woman involves emotional, psychological, spiritual, physical, and financial balance, and providing security is central to a relationship.

“As a man, you’re supposed to study a woman and know who a woman is first, like understand the basics of a woman. I’m emotionally balanced. I’m psychologically balanced. I’m spiritually balanced. I’m physically balanced and financially balanced. What is it that a woman needs? A woman needs security. I know how to secure my woman.”

He added that the modern narrative of independence is often overstated.

“Most women forget all these once they are saying, ‘I want to be an independent woman, I want work.’ It’s a lie. Most women don’t want to do anything. They want to lie down and they want breakfast in bed,” he concluded.
