Sani tweeted on Friday that he did not have a problem with his wife liking Prof Wole Soyinka but when he expressed likeness for the novelist, she got upset.

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Sen Shehu Sani has opined that women are difficult to understand.

He disclosed that his wife got upset when he told her he likes the renowned writer, Chimamanda Adichie.

Chimamanda has been in the news since Thursday when she wrote an open letter to US President Joe Biden on Nigeria’s 2023 elections and President-elect Bola Tinubu.

Sani tweeted on Friday that he did not have a problem with his wife liking Prof Wole Soyinka but when he expressed likeness for the novelist, she got upset.

“My wife said she likes Soyinka and I was ok with it, and I said I like Chimamanda and suddenly she got angry,” Sani wrote.

“Women are too difficult to understand. They can like but you can’t equally like.”
