Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been arrested and detained by the Lagos state police command for flouting movement restrictions following a recently staged concert in Abuja.
A report by TheCable confirmed the arrest and detention.
His latest ordeal comes after videos surfaced online showing him boarding an airplane at a time interstate travels were banned and later mingle with fans closely.
On Thursday, Bala Elkana, a spokesperson of the state police command, confirmed to TheCable Lifestyle that he was arrested over the concert, which had flouted the safety guidelines put in place by the federal government to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
