Victor Osimhen and his Napoli teammates are good to go for the Serie A opener away to Parma on Sunday following the confirmation that they all returned negative in the COVID-19 test carried out on the team.

Napoli gladly made this disclosure on their official twitter handle on Saturday; indicating they are ready to get their season officially underway after weeks of preparation.

Incidentally, Osimhen and his Italian club were last weekend denied another chance to fine-tune their preparations for the new season with another friendly this time against Portuguese side Sporting CP.

Some players of Sporting CP tested positive for COVID-19 and that led to the cancelation of the final tune-up game for Napoli.

Now, Osimhen and his teammates have flown out of Naples ahead of Sunday’s tie away to Parma which they would be hoping to snatch all three points from their hosts.
