Sponsored by Senator Ned Munir Nwoko (Delta North), the bill is designed to institutionalize advanced agricultural training, research, and extension services, equipping Nigerians with the technical expertise required to modernize the sector.

The bill, which passed its first reading on Wednesday, March 5, outlines a robust framework for the college to offer diploma, degree, and professional certification programs in agriculture and related disciplines.
