Netizens accuse Ekene Umenwa of idol worshipping for dedicating baby to Mother Mary

Trolls slam actress Ekene Umenwa as they accuse her of idol worshipping following video of her dedicating her baby to Mother Mary.

Recall that in September, Ekene announced the arrival of her first child in the US, stating that only Jesus and Mother Mary could understand what she went through.

Expressing gratitude to God, she praised mothers and prayed for expectant ones.

Now back in Nigeria after giving birth, Ekene fulfilled her promise to her mother by taking her baby to be blessed by Mother Mary before bringing them to their father’s house.

She wrote …

“The flight shifting could not stop me from taking my baby to mama before she entered her father’s house this is what I told mummy before I left and I want to say a big thank you to all my REV FATHERS INCLUDING MY FATHER @stevemarioisioma for his constant support

However some netizens have opined that what she was doing was idol worshipping.
