Newcastle United is prepared to rival Premier League clubs for top-notch players as the club is prepared to have new ownership.

The Magpies have been linked with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain Edinson Cavani, Napoli Khalidou Koulibaly and Real Betis Nabil Fekir.

Newcastle United is nearing a change of ownership after a £300million bid by a Saudi consortium was accepted by current owner Mike Ashley.

According to the report in Foot Mercato says Newcastle United has officially contacted Napoli as per the sign of Koulibaly and they are also out to get the signature of Cavani and Fekir from Paris Saint Germain and Real Betis respectively.

The takeover would place Newcastle United as one of the richest teams in the Premier League.
