Newly married Nigerian woman addresses those criticizing her for keeping her husband’s face hidden in wedding photos

A newly married Nigerian woman, Vasti Yerri has addressed speculations and criticisms over her decision to keep her husband’s face hidden in their wedding photos.

Vasti, from Adamawa State, shut down claims that she hid her husband’s face because he is old and already married to another woman

“I no marry una say I don old no man go marry me. I marry now I hide my own husband face una talk say na person husband. Truly I won’t live my life for anybody. I will post my husband when I want to, mind u he’s soo handsome and young. No be old man ooo. Na guy man,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Saturday, October 18

She also revealed that she met her husband for the first time in October last year shortly before he traveled abroad.

“I met my husband last October when he was preparing to travel abroad. I took the risk to visit him before his departure. Notably, he sponsored my flight fare to and from Lagos,” she wrote.

She added that after their first physical meeting, they kept in touch, and when he returned, he came all the way to marry her.

“A simple ‘hi’ on Facebook transformed my life. I had only met my husband once, and the next time, he traveled back just to marry me. Indeed, a man who loves you will not stress you. Be motivated. Your Mr. Right will find you soon.”
