Neymar broke down in tears when asked what it meant to approach Pele’s national team goal record after scoring yet another goal for Brazil:

“It’s moving for me, I’ve been through a lot the past two years. These goal numbers are nothing more than my joy of playing for Brazil, representing my country and my family. We’re all going through a very hard moment in Brazil. To be a role model for someone, to make people happy it gives me joy.
