Nigerian School welcomes students and teachers back to school in grand style (video)

A Nigerian school went all out to welcome students and teachers back to school with full paranran — trumpeters, drummers and colourful decorations lined up at the entrance.

A mother who shared the video explained that the surprise celebration was for both teachers and pupils, but the reaction wasn’t exactly what you’d expect.

Instead of being excited at the trumpets and paparazzi, some of the children — especially the fresh intakes — burst into tears as they walked in.
