Nigerian woman recalls how she was abandoned in the hospital to pay bills after every miscarriage

A Nigerian woman, Miriam IShember, has recalled the traumatizing experience after suffering miscarriages. 

According to Miriam, from Benue, she was abandoned in the hospital after every miscarriage because she couldn’t carry the pregnancy to full term. 

She shared her experience while reacting to ongoing conversation on pregnant women and saving money towards childbirth. 

“It’s either my friends are bailing me out, my mum or Dr Ijeko will take pity on me and ask me to leave,” she wrote. 

“Each time I try to forgive them, and remember all the trauma they put me through…”
