Nigerians react as SA to Osun State Governor completes “major renovation” of female hostel in Osun orientation camp

Nigerians have gone on X to express disbelief following a renovation exercise carried out on the female hostel of the Osun State NYSC orientation camp. 

A Facebook account with the username NYSC Osun State announced the development on Facebook, writing in part, “Dr. Michael Oyerinde, the Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Primary Health Care, has carried out the second phase of a major renovation project at the female hostel wing of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede in Osun State.” 

While some social media users hailed them for the project, others questioned what exactly was done on the building. 

Some said the only work done was that the clothes on the line were removed and they added a zinc on the window top. 

“Are they joking?” actress Jemima Osunde asked.
