North West, 12, shows off more ‘piercings’ after backlash over previous one

North West is showing off some new piercings. 

The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West shared a photo on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Feb. 5, showing a plethora of piercings on her hands and fingers. 

North’s photo show at least three piercings on her fingers, plus more on her hands and wrist. It’s unclear whether all of the piercings are real. Across the photo, the 12-year-old included three emojis. 

Since North was first spotted with a piercing on her hand in September 2025, fans have slammed Kim Kardashian for allowing her pre-teen daughter to undergo body modifications. 

North’s original finger piercing is known as a microdermal piercing or single-point piercing. 

Kardashian first drew backlash from fans when she and her daughter were spotted out in Rome in September, when North was seen with a dermal piercing. Fans argued that North is too young for a dermal piercing, which some argued causes more pain and likelihood of infection than other kinds. 

Following the criticism of North’s piercings, Kardashian spoke on Call Her Daddy about letting her daughter embrace her own style. 

“She has a really unique style. She puts me on to so many brands, like she just loves what she loves,” Kardashian said. “And it’s just really fun to see someone be so creative. And also know herself so much.”
