Members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra have received a stern warning from its former deputy leader, Mefor.

An ex- deputy leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has vowed that the group cannot stop governorship election from holding in Anambra state.

According to him, election must hold in Anambra and other south eastern states no matter what IPOB thinks.

IPOB had insisted that the Anambra Governorship Election will not hold till referendum for an independent Biafran Republic is conducted.

Mefor took to his known Facebook page on Saturday to share his view, amid rumours of his death.

“If you like, stay in the bush, your house, or sleep on the street, election in Anambra and others must hold, and Biafrans must exercise their democratic rights. Watch and see,” Mefor wrote.
