A Nigerian journalist who mustered the boldness to inform his dad that he’s gay has shared his response. 

Chisom Peter Job took to Twitter to reveal how his dad responded after he broke the news to him. 

Chisom in a thread shared on his handle this afternoon said he was scared to open up to his father but that when he did, his father responded that he had always known and was waiting for him to tell him. He said his father said that he loves him and is proud of him, and nothing will change that.
