Barau FC, the newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League side, have officially parted ways with their Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, following an internal assessment of the team’s performance in the first half of the 2025/26 NPFL season, sportblits.com reports.
The club announced on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, that Bosso has been asked to step aside from his role with immediate effect as Barau FC look to reset before the league’s second stanza.
In an official statement, the club thanked Bosso for his contributions during his tenure and wished him well in his future endeavours. Bosso, a seasoned coach and former Flying Eagles gaffer, joined Barau FC ahead of their debut NPFL campaign but saw mixed results as the team navigated life in the top flight.
Barau FC finished the first round in 17th place, accumulating 21 points from 19 matches with a record that included five wins, seven draws, and eight defeats, a start that prompted the decision for a new direction.
The club appointed his assistant as interim head while they search for long‑term leadership to guide the Maliya Boys as they aim to climb the NPFL standings.
