NYSC: Corps member reveals shocking weight loss after service

A newly discharged corps member shares her dramatic weight loss transformation following her one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

The copper identifeid as @gracemarieee24 on TikTok posted a video capturing her physical change from the beginning to the end of her service year.

In the first part of the clip, taken during her NYSC orientation camp, she appeared plump and energetic while participating in a marching drill. However, the second part of the video, filmed a year later, revealed a significantly slimmer physique, sparking mixed reactions online.

“How the NYSC started VS how it ended in just 12 months,” she captioned the video.

The transformation quickly became a hot topic, with many users joking about how NYSC could serve as an unexpected weight loss program.

A TikTok user, @zeus4u2, humorously questioned, “Come… why una dey take this NYSC thing so serious? I don’t think I went to my PPA up to 4 times o. CDS was once a month, sometimes 3 months I no go CDS… na clearance I dey go do.”
