Senator Rochas Okorocha and his wife, Ugo Nneoma Okorocha on sunday paid a private visit to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu at his palatial Aso Villa home in Abuja.

Recall that Kalu, a former Governor of Abia State recently regained his freedom from the prison after the Supreme Court of Nigeria annulled his conviction on alleged corruption related offence. The Supreme Court ruled that his conviction was illegal on the ground that the trial judge lacked jurisdiction over the case.

Although the reason for the visit was not disclosed to the Newsmen, it may however not be unconnected with show of solidarity to the Senator, who currently represents Abia North at the National Assembly.

Senator Okorocha is the Senator representing Imo West. Both of the National Assembly have served their respective States as Governors.
