Chief Uche Nwosu, the son-in-law of embattled Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha has denied rumours of dumping the All Progressives Congress, APC for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, PoliticsNGR has learned.
It will be recalled that Okorocha has been at loggerheads with the leadership of the APC over its refusal to field Nwosu as the governorship candidate of the party in the 2019 general elections.
Speaking to new telegraph via telephone, Nwosu said;
“That is a big lie. l can’t be part of a party from inception and abandon it for people that came and joined.”
“l have no reason to dump APC as l am convinced that l will regain my mandate and contest the Imo State governorship election in the state. I know where the allegation of me dumping APC coming from. But l want to assure them that would not lead to anything.
“That would be the last card they would play on my mandate.”
