Okpebholo Sets Up Panel To Investigate Suspended Edo LG Council Chairmen, Vice

The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the constitution of an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to look into the affairs of the suspended 18 Local Government Council Chairmen and Vice Chairmen.

The 18 local council chairmen and their deputies were suspended by the Edo State House of Assembly on Tuesday for two months on the allegation of ‘misappropriation of funds.’

Governor Okpebholo announced the constitution of the seven-man Administrative Panel in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Umar Musa Ikhilor.

Members of the Panel are: Solomon Imohiosen, Esq., as chairman, with Adaze Andrew Emwanta, Esq., Hon. Patrick Idiake, Barr. Dorine Eduwui, Barr. Henry Unoakhe Itseuwa, Kazeem Afegbua as Members and Osagie Asabor, Esq. as Secretary.
