Old video of Buhari begging for forgiveness stirs emotions

A throwback video of late former President Muhammadu Buhari speaking on forgiveness has stirred emotions among Nigerians.

It would be recalled that the former leader had died in a clinic in London on Sunday 13th July at the age of 82.

His demise had thrown a great many Nigerians to sorrow.

Following this, his former aide, Bashir Ahmad had shared an old video from May 2023 where the president was speaking on forgiveness.

In the video, Buhari acknowledged that some of his actions might have hurt some people. However, he seeks and asks for their forgiveness.

He said…

“Whoever thought that there has been some form of injustice on him we are all humans, there is no doubt I hurt some people, and I wish they would pardon me and those who think that I have hurt them, please pardon me”. – late President Muhammadu Buhari (May, 2023).”
