Ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo State, scores of Zenith Labor Party members led by the former ZLP House of Assembly Candidate for Akure South Constituency I, Hon. Sanya Oluwateru renounced their membership of the party to join forces with the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).

The reason for their decision as stated by Hon. Sanya Oluwateru was that the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) is the only political party with the structure to do that which is necessary for the survival of our State, unseating the incumbent. They promised to play a pivotal in ensuring victory for the PDP come October.
