One of the children of a Katsina village head who was abducted by bandits has escaped the captor’s den.

Bandits abducted four children of Alhaji Hamza Umar, the village head of Sabuwar Kasa in Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

A family member, Abubakar Nasarawa confirmed the latest development in a statement on Facebook on Thursday September 23.

“Alhamdulillah, one of our children has escaped, by the grace of God we are expecting the rest to arrive in time too. Let’s keep them in prayer and our country together. May God bring us eternal peace. Wamba of Nasarawa. For the family” the statement read.
