Orphanage home cautions woman over her insensitive comment

A woman has received heat for displaying what Facebook users have called a lack of emotional intelligence in the comment section of an orphanage home. 

Sarah’s House Foundation, an orphanage home in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, shared a video showing their facility and what life is like for the orphans in the home. 

As followers commended them for how organised the home looks, one woman left a comment that divided opinions. 

She wrote: “no matter how comfortable the orphanage home will look, my children will never be orphans… AMEN.”

While many liked her comment, others accused her of being insensitive. 

The orphanage responded to the woman: “they didn’t pray to be orphans please be a little kind with your words.”
