Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen will battle Algerian forward, Islam Slimani who plays for Monaco and Nantes’ Nicolas Pallois for the Ligue 1 player of the month for September.

The 20-year-old Nigeria international who has found back of the net two times in four league appearances for Lille last month after notching in the 2-1 win against Angers SCO and the 2-0 victory at home to Strasbourg. Slimani hit the back of the net three times for Monaco during the time after Leicester City loanee has scored four goals in six appearances for the club, while Pallois who is a teammate to Moses Simon at Nantes, played a key role in the club’s surge to the second position in the table.Osimhen was named Lille player of the month for September on Sunday in front of their fans before scoring the team’s equaliser in their 2-2 with Nimes.Fans have until midnight on Saturday to vote for their choice player for the award.
