A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing a message from a talking stage she ghosted after receiving ₦15,000 from him.
The revelation came through a TikTok post on her page, where she admitted cutting off communication with the man, whom she referred to as her “talking stage,” immediately after receiving the money.
The video featured the lady’s face alongside a screenshot of the message the man sent her.
The caption on the post read: “You collected urgent 15k from your talking stage and ghosted.”
In the message, the man expressed his disappointment and his initial intentions to spend more on her:
“I’m very serious about making you my wife only if you wish. I love you, thanks. You claim you’re wise not knowing you’re being foolish. I gave you just a little amount, and you proved to be an ungrateful fellow. I was planning to send you ₦120,000 to buy Christmas clothes as a surprise, but you’re not worth it.”
He added: “Chisom, see, all those girls that do hook-up, I can categorically tell you’re not on their level. I just love you for a reason, not because of sex. A man who wants to spend much on you will first start small—it happens everywhere, even in Nollywood. This is the truth I’m telling you.”
The man expressed his feelings, hinting that his intentions were genuine and that the ₦15,000 was only a preview of the generosity he had planned for her.
As the post gained traction, several TikTok users flooded the comments section to share their thoughts, sparking a lively debate.
