An outrage has been sparked after some Nigerians were seen performing some traditional rituals in broad daylight in South Africa.

According to reports, the Nigerians were seen in the North of Johannesburg performing the rites where a live chicken was killed and its blood spilled on a traditional item before it was thrown away.

It was alleged that the traditional rituals were performed in the street ahead of coronation by Ohaneze Ndigbo.

This happened right in public in the presence of other residents and passersby.

Nigerians are calling on the federal government and Ohaneze Ndigbo to find a way to stop the public embarrassment and call the citizens to order on how to practice their tradition without drawing attention to themselves.
