Over 250 houses destroyed by flood & windstorm in Sokoto state (see photos)

According to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), about 1, 312 people were affected and more than 250 houses were destroyed by flood and windstorm in Dange-Shuni Local Government Area, Sokoto.

NEMA authorities in the area led a joint assessment team round places ravaged by the disaster and saw first hand the huge loss of properties suffered by the victims. No single human life was however lost.
