Suddenly Wike came and told us to start evacuating from this place that they want to come and demolish. No way! It will be on our dead body! We are ready to die because of that. You can’t just come and ask us to leave, we have families here, we have children here. It’s not done like that. All the houses here are occupied, not a single one is vacant.
You are coming to kick us out in 24 hours as animals or what?”

VDM goes on to narrate how the property in question belonged to a retired army Colonel, Paul Egebor who served in the civil war and passed 4 years ago.
Wike came on board as minister and reallocated his land to another person, then issued a new C-of – O for the said property in less than 2 weeks

At this point it is obvious that the FCT minister Nyesom wike is power drunk, how do you revoke a land that was allocated to the owner since 1984 the owner who was a colonel of the Nigerian army, not just that he was the first NDA(Nigeria defense academy) CADET code number 001, a civil war veteran who carried a bullet wound all through his years on earth until he passed 4 years ago 2020.
