The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, on Saturday, said Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State does not have any desire to join the All Progressives Congress, APC.

IGBERE TV had reported that former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu said Ikpeazu promised to join APC.

Reacting over the report in a statement made available to IGBERE TV, Hon. Chief Fabian Nwankwo, Publicity Secretary of PDP described the report as rumour and urged PDP loyalists in the state to continue supporting Ikpeazu.

Nwankwo further advised Senator Kalu to prevail President Muhammadu Buhari to tackle growing insecurity, Economic Retrogression, social Injustice and decay of infrastructure in the country.

IGBERE TV recalls that few weeks ago, Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC despite several denials that he had no such intention.
