The People’s Democratic party(PDP) is set to hold a special convention on August 12, 2017. The party leadership made the announcement on Tuesday at its 74th NEC meeting today in Abuja.

The party held a series of meetings that witnessed the presence of all its top members. They also announced the dissolution of the Jigawa and Benue states caretaker committees and parallel executives.
