Dr Akunyili had just attended a meeting of the University of Nigeria Nsukka Alumni Association where he spoke of his late wife and was on his way home before he was gruesomely murdered.

The photo of Dr Chike Akunyili, the husband of late Dora Akunyili, a former NAFDAC boss has surfaced online hours before he was killed by gunmen.

Dr Akunyili had just attended a meeting of the University of Nigeria Nsukka Alumni Association (UNAA) where he spoke glowingly of his late wife who was a member and was on his way home when he was gruesomely murdered by the gunmen on Tuesday, September 28.
