Top aides and ministers appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari have received coronavirus vaccine. They include: 

Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, and other members of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID19. The AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine was given to them on National TV on Monday, March 8 as further demonstration of the safety.

 Other top government officials such as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and chairman of the PFT, Boss Mustapha, Minister of Health Osagiue Ehanire, Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffery Onyeama, and the Director-General of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC Chikwe Ihekwazu, all took their first shots of the vaccines.
