Police arrest car wash attendant for absconding with customer’s Prado SUV in Ebonyi

Operatives of the Ebonyi State Police Command have arrested a car wash attendant for absconding with a customer’s car in Abakaliki, the state capital.

It was gathered that the suspect, Daniel Nwokwu, made away with the Prado SUV belonging to the wife of former House of Representatives member, Hon. Nwazunku a few weeks ago. 

Daniel, who hails from Ezza North Local Government Area. was apprehended in Anambra State with the car.  

He had been employed at a car washing company somewhere in Abakaliki, where the theft occurred.

The swift arrest is attributed to the collaborative efforts of the OC crack team of the Ebonyi State Police and concerned citizens who stood by the owner of the car washing company during the trying period.

Further investigation and prosecution are expected to follow.
