The RRS had intercepted a Ford vehicle with REG No. 9791F7 with the two suspects wearing police uniform and T-shirt with police colour.

Daily Post reports that the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, on stop and search duty have arrested two suspected impersonators at the Head Bridge, in Asaba, Delta State.

The suspects include Bankole Odusi and Samuel Idowu, ‘m’ 49yrs.

The RRS had intercepted a Ford vehicle with REG No. 9791F7 with the two suspects wearing police uniform and T-shirt with police colour.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali disclosed this at a press briefing held in Asaba.

The Police boss said, “Upon search, A Toy beretta pistol was recovered from them.

“On interrogation, they initially said they were police officers, but later admitted to be spy police. Investigation is ongoing.”
