Police do not have the power to arrest anybody for possession of Indian Hemp or any other hard drugs – Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke

Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, says the Nigeria Police has no right to arrest, detain or prosecute anyone in possession of Indian hemp or any form of hard drugs. 

In a post shared on social media, Alieke said that it is only the National Drug Enforcement Agency NDLEA that has the jurisdiction to carry out such an arrest.
