Two males and two females caught with PVCs have been handed over to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Police command in Lagos said it handed over two males and two females after they were arrested for alleged unlawful possession of PVCs and diversion of sensitive electoral materials during the February 25 national assembly and presidential election for prosecution.
Spokesperson for Lagos Police Command, SP. Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this on Friday.
According to the police spokesperson, a total 23 suspects were arrested during the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in Lagos State.
But six of them were found to be culpable for electoral and criminal acts.
Hundeyin said the two other suspects arrested same day would be prosecuted by the police for alleged unlawful possession of firearms.
He said those to be prosecuted by the police are Joseph Agada and Animashaun Kabiru.
He said all the suspects were charged to court on Friday.
