Police Rescue ‘Crossdresser’ Who Was About To Be Lynched By A Mob Over Claims He Is A Terrorist

The Lagos state police rescued a 29-year-old man identified as Sanni Gafar from an irate mob who was about to lynch him.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson of the state police command, said the man was almost lynched in the Ijora Badia area of the state today August 15, by a mob who accused him of being a terrorist.

Hundeyin said police intervention led to his rescue.

He said the man who wore a hijab, claimed he is an electrician.
