Police Seeking Nigerian Drug Addict Connected To The Abuse, Murder Of His Girlfriend’s Child

Malaysian police are hot on the trail of a Nigerian man to help in investigations into an alleged abuse case which led to the death of a five-year-old boy. .

Brickfields police chief ACP Ruslan Khalid the man, identified as Ebiziem Ifeanyi Stephen, 31, is believed to have escaped following the death of Muhammad Adam Oshi Abdul Rahman.

Stephen was believed to be the boyfriend of the mother of the victim. The couple are said to be from Taman Desa here. “We believe the case will be solved if we manage to find the man.

We have given his details to all the police stations nationwide and we are sure he is till in the country and we urge the public with information on his whereabouts to come forward,” he told a press conference today.

On June 20, Muhammad Adam was taken to a private hospital near here in an unconscious state.mIt is believed that the mother and Stephen had sent him to the hospital before they fled.

He was later transferred to Hospital Kuala Lumpur on Thursday and succumbed to his injuries after being in a coma for two days.

He had various injuries on his body, as well as a broken arm and head trauma, which led the doctor and the grandmother (mother of the arrested woman) to lodge a police report.

The HKL post-mortem report revealed the cause of the death was “head injury due to blunt force trauma”.mIt is learnt that the mother had two other children and they are currently under the hospital’s care.

Ruslan said there were no signs that the two other boys were abused. It was also reported that the couple have a history of drug use.

The case which was initially investigated under Section 3(1) of the Child Act is now being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
