The Nigeria Police Force, Jigawa State Command have arrested eleven suspected drugs dealers in their raids of criminals hideout at four local Governments areas.

This was stated by the command spokesman ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam said the operation was carried out between 20th of October to the 7th of November 2021.

He said the local governments include Ringim, Kazaure, Hadejia and Karfin-Hausa.

He explained that the patrol was carried out based on intelligence report gathered from the good people of the area on the activities of the drugs dealers in the areas.

Shisu said a Team of Policemen while on surveillance after intelligence report led patrol, raided criminals hideouts and succeeded in arresting the suspects.

He said 15 wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp and rubber solution were discovered in their possession.

Suspects have been charged to court for prosecution.
