Portable breaks silence following arrest

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has broken his silence following his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command over allegations of unpaid debts related to a G-Wagon purchase.

The controversial artist took to social media to address his fans and followers, marking his first public statement since his arrest.

Portable’s arrest reportedly stemmed from accusations of unpaid debts related to the purchase of a G-Wagon vehicle from a car dealer.

Reports indicate that Portable paid only N13 million, a fraction of the total N27 million cost, leaving a significant balance unsettled.

The singer purportedly declined to settle the remainder, citing claimed faults with the vehicle.

In his first public statement since the arrest, Portable used his Instagram page to convey a message of faith and resilience.

In his words;

“God is bigger than everything. Amen if you believe so. God over everything.”
