The report in TMW claimed Liverpool attacker Said Mane has been offered to Barcelona directors as a potential replacement for the Argentine maestro.

Messi has told the club of his intention to leave Barcelona after spending decades with the La Liga outfit, the captain met with the newly appointed manager Ronald Koeman to discuss his future after the sack of Quique Setien and Eric Abidal.

Mane’s agent has offered the former Southampton ace to Barcelona, the Liverpool winger worked under Koeman at Southampton and he is keen on facing a new challenge with the Barcelona manager in his first season at Camp Nou.
