President Mohammadu Buhari, Yesterday, November 14th, 2017, unveiled the statue of Late father and leader, Late Ezeogo Dr. Akanu Ibiam in Abakiliki, Ebonyi State.

While unveiling the statue, PMB recalled on the numerous achievements of Late Dr. Akanu Ibiam and called on our leaders to follow in his footsteps in bringing meaningful development to the people.

He also commissioned a Twin Fly-over, roads and laid the foundation of a Shopping Mall. Chieftancy titles were also conferred on him by Igbo and Ebonyi traditional rulers respectively.

The building of the statue of Late Ezeogo Elder Dr. Akanu Ibiam was a major highlight and a deserving recognition of his great and numerous achievements in Ebonyi State, the whole Eastern States and beyond.
