Cleverly is meeting Tinubu in Nigeria to discuss stronger partnerships between both countries.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with the United Kingdom Foreign Secretary of State, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, James Cleverly, on Wednesday, August 2, at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja.

Cleverly is meeting Tinubu in Nigeria to discuss stronger partnerships between both countries.

Recall that in a statement on Monday, the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office said Cleverly’s visit is part of a four-day trip to Africa which he began on Monday in Ghana.

The statement said during his visit to Nigeria, Cleverly will meet with President Tinubu and key government officials to discuss a positive future of partnerships.

According to the statement, the aim of the visit to the country is to drive economic growth and trade, and investment opportunities.
