Prominent Anambra community leader slumps and dies at a public function

A prominent media figure and leader in Ogbunike community, Oyi local government area of Anambra, Comrade Eze-Harris Chuma-Odili, also known as “Eze Ogbono,” has died after slumping at a public function. 

It was gathered that the incident occurred at the  Igwe stool of Ogbunike town on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025.

According to eyewitnesses, Chuma-Odili was in high spirits, exchanging pleasantries and preparing to spray money on dancing women when he suddenly slumped backwards.

Despite efforts to revive him at a nearby hospital, he was pronounced d3ad.

Meanwhile, the news about his death has spread on social media, with tributes pouring in from friends, colleagues, and associates.
